INTRODUCTION: What is Seesaw?
Seesaw is a student portfolio intended to give our Kindergarten through 5th-grade students a place to create, submit and share learning with their class, teachers, and parents.
The simplicity of Seesaw provides an easy entry into digital learning and will help to grow our 21st-century learners.

Adding Students
Adding Students Continued
You will simply type a list of your students when prompted.
You can even copy and paste these from a list by selecting paste student list at the bottom of the page.
Hurray! You’ve added your students!
How to access student login codes!
You will use these login codes to give students access to your online class.
If your students know their Google email, then select yes here.
This will then give you directions to email to students.
If your students don’t know their Google email, then select no here.
This will then prompt you to choose shared or 1:1 device. For digital learning students are 1:1
Awesome!
You’ve got your class set up on SeeSaw!

Here you can send announcements to students.
This is a great way to stay in contact with families and will keep track of who has seen your announcements.
Skills is a great way to keep track of student understanding of a certain topic. You can assign skills to different assignments and then rank the student using stars.

Add Nicole Crites to your class. Attach my login information to your homework page. IF YOU CAN’T ADD ME, JUST SEND ME THE LOGIN INFO FOR ANOTHER STUDENT.
For session 6's HW, you were asked to create a class in SeeSaw and send a code. This has changed due to the district archiving and setting up SeeSaw for our district. Please do not put items into SeeSaw accounts that you have been using. Thank you and we are sorry for any inconvenience. If you have already turned in a code and submitted homework, no need to change anything. I will mark it complete. If you have not completed this session’s homework yet, please do the following:
1- Review the basics of setting up a class in SeeSaw HERE.
2-Write a quick reflection including any questions you may have regarding SeeSaw setup. Post in your HW document on Google Classroom.
Next week:
-Adding and assigning activities.
-Activity library
-Providing feedback to student activities
