The coursework
A practical task set by the SQA where pupils have to manufacture a product and complete a log book.
It is completed in class time with a deadline of middle of March.
For those students studying Practical Metalwork, there will be a trip to McMillan Fabricators to complete welding later in the year.

SQA release the exam dates on Thursday 5 September
Timings:
N5: 1 hour
Structure of the N5/H Exam
The question paper will give pupils the opportunity to demonstrate skills, knowledge and understanding on topics including measuring and marking out, reading and interpreting drawings, materials, health and safety, etc. (60 marks)
