Equity Grant Opportunities 2024-25

We invite students, educators, and caregivers to apply!

Do you have an idea for a project to eliminate academic, racial, socio-economic, and/or other opportunity gaps*, or to address inequities in Cambridge Public Schools?

We now have two funding options:

  • OEIB Mini-Grants (up to $1000) - rolling applications
    • Fill out the application form - due Apr. 25
  • The Equity Collaborative ($500-$5000) - due Nov. 5
    • Applications for 2024-25 have ended

What’s the difference between the grants?

Total Amount

$500-$5000

Up to $1000 per group per year

(may be split up among different projects)

Timeline

  • Application launches Sept. 23.
  • All applications are due Nov. 5.
  • You have January - May to complete your project.

  • Apply when you know exactly what you need. If you don’t apply 6-8 weeks before your event, orders may not arrive in time.
  • This is a rolling application process, so you can apply anytime between Sept. 23 and April 25. We will tell you how much money we’ve approved for you within two weeks.
