Costs and Equipment...
The course cost of $45 covers the cost of DVC materials, such as paper and modelling basics. Students are expected to come to lessons equipped with drawing tools – pencils, ruler, a quality compass, eraser, quality colour pencils, an A3 carry case and an A3 clear file is also required.
Students can purchase the Year 11 DVC kit, online or in store through the College’s Art Stationery Supplier – Office Max. In addition, there is a compulsory course cost of $45. Each DVC kit contains the basic equipment required for the course.

Course Content | Students will be taught the relevant knowledge and skills for each topic and will then apply these within the context of related design briefs (presentation, product and spatial design). LEVEL 2 (YEAR 12) DESIGN & VISUAL COMMUNICATION | |||||
Course Content | This course progresses from Year 11 DVC. Students continue to build their skills, knowledge and understanding; responding to a range of briefs related to the main areas of study. Students compile a portfolio of selected work for external assessment. Internals are assessed by teaching staff. Students may wish to enter Scholarship*, upon teacher consultation. **Total credits available is subject to change. | ||||
