MOVEX Project – General Information

Full Title: Development of a Virtual Exchange Model and a Unified Information Space

Acronym: MOVEX

Implementation Period: 15.12.2022 – 15.12.2025 (3 years)

Main Idea: Creating an effective virtual exchange program as a platform for professional and intercultural interaction.

Relevance: Increasing access to international education for students with mobility and financial constraints (especially in the context of Ukraine and Georgia).

Specific Project Objectives

  • Mechanism Creation: Adapting an effective support mechanism for virtual exchange programs to the new academic context.
  • Global Competencies: Developing digital literacy, cultural awareness, and cross-border collaboration skills among youth in Ukraine and Georgia.
  • Staff Qualification: Enhancing the skills of academic and administrative staff in working with exchange students and organizing intercultural communication.
  • Unified Space (CIS): Creating a "Common Information Space" web portal as a tool for information exchange and intercultural dialogue.
  • Consortium Strengthening: Training advanced staff to work with intercultural groups and developing the potential of all participants.
  • Institutional Support: Improving forms of cooperation for all academic and administrative units of the university and providing methodological/technical support for virtual exchanges.
