A thing that you should know about romanian eating and cooking habits is that we don’t have something original. We borrow habits from each country and mix them in one. We create ower style from yours.

From the turkey we borrow lahana sarmasi and change them into sarmale , we change the meat (pork)

From greece we have souvlaki

as frigarui and we added to them vegetables

From portuguese we have cozido á portuguesa as platou cu de toate and we change some of the ingredients

  • In Turkey breakfast is the most important meal. Turkish breakfast are large and plantiful and in turkey we have cheese, olives, jams, tomatoes, butter, bread leaves And a cup of black tea
  • Vegetables are very important in turkish cuisine they can be cooked with olive oil or served cool.
  • Soups are the most common starter in turkish meals.
  • Rice , called pilav in turkish, wich is the most served with Turkis meals
  • And we have meat in the most important dishes in Turkey

GREEK EATING AND COOKING HABITS

In Greece despite the fact that the breakfast is the most important meal our lunch is much more rich. We prefer rare as a type of cooking. We really love fruit especially grapes, oranges and watermelon at summer. Last but not least we have a huge variety of deserts.

PORTUGUESE EATING AND COOKING HABITS

In Portugal we use fish almost in each meal especially cot. We like medium rare food and we use olive oil like Grece and Turkey and we accompany meals with wine. We also have a hyge variety of bread.
