Forms & Fees: Each student competing in Speech MUST fill out the BBE Activity Form and pay an activity fee of $75.

Practice starts this week! Be sure to sign up for a 30-minute personalized practice slot with one of our fantastic coaches! Every member of the Speech Team is required to practice once per week with a coach.

All-Team Practice Wednesdays

We will be having an All-Team practice every Wednesday from 3:30-4:00 for team bonding, practice skills, and announcements. Attendance is mandatory.

Expectations:

  • Students should attend at least 7/10 meets to compete in sub-section tournament.
  • Students must attend individual & team practices to compete.
  • Non-competing students should attend meets to support their team.
  • Plan to pack or buy lunch for meets.

Lettering:

  • Students may receive a letter in Speech if (one):
    • Attend 8 of 10 meets
    • Place top 3 @ large
    • Place top 3 2x @ sm.

Team Captains:

Applicants have entered their intentions and explained their qualifications. During our Wednesday All-Team meeting, applicants will explain to their team what they would do as captain & what they will do if they are not chosen. The team will vote for their recommendation. The coaches will use that to help inform their final decision.
