The Schedule

  • Q: So how will this new semester long course format impact my success in AP?
  • A: Whether you take an AP course first semester or second semester, you are going to get an amazing learning experience and be well prepared for the exam.
  • Many districts across the country already format this way with schedules that break entire courses into single semester experiences.
  • There are many supports in place ranging from office hours, to My AP Classroom online, to teacher led review sessions for all in April/May that will foster success.

The Schedule

  • Q: So what’s better...taking my AP class first semester or second?
  • A: Both have very clear advantages. You can’t go wrong.
  • Taking it first semester means that there are a few “bonus weeks” of AP learning that are not a part of the second semester. These offer more time for review and exploration.
  • Taking it second semester means that there is time to cover all content and segue straight into the testing window.
  • And everyone will be part of April/May review sessions with their teachers…
  • So in the end IT ALL BALANCES OUT.
