- Write up the Counselling Theories section of the application.
- Join a therapeutic group.
- Get two forms of ID verified by Supervisor/Employer/ Justice of the Peace.

- Write up the Ethics in Practice section of the application.
- Record a client session for your Supervisor.
- Have a session with Kaitiaki.
- Start writing up Puawananga Kaitiakitanga section reflections.
- Write up the Ongoing Professional Development section.
- Take Counselling Theories and Ethics in Practice write-up to your supervisor for reflection and approval.
- Complete declaration in the online application.
| - Get supporting letter/s.
- Pay invoice for APC.
- Complete APC declaration and CPD to get APC expiring 2026.
- Record second client session for supervisor.
- Attend 3/3 NZAC event. Keep evidence of attendance.
- Have session with Kaitiaki.
- Puawananga reflection write-up completed.
- Write up therapeutic group reflection
- Get therapeutic group reflection approved by supervisor
- Complete police vetting form and upload to application with IDs
| - Write up how you develop self- awareness in your practice as outlined in application.
- Complete the police vetting form
- Have supervisor review all other sections of your application.
- Have Supervisor complete their report.
- Have Kaitiaki complete report.
- Load all sections of application to member portal by 1 October 2025
- Pay assessment fee $488.75.
