Refillable Nalgene Bottles

  • These bottles would replace the past Alverno cups and metallic bottles.
  • They are more versatile and durable, so students can keep them in their backpacks.
  • More sanitary than the straws that are in the cups and do not have a “metallic” taste.

E-Waste

E-Waste Campaign

  • This would be a community-based event. This service would allow us to provide an ecologically friendly way for the people in Sierra Madre to dispose of their waste. This could be used to pay for the fountain(s)

Grants

  • We are currently looking into possible grants that provide students with funding to further their recycling efforts.

LA County “Battle of the Schools”

Los Angeles has a competition for local middle and high schools to encourage them to further their recycling efforts.

If we could apply we would use the white dumpster near the garage and fill it with our recyclables per week for over two weeks.

We would enter our uses over this time period to Generation Earth. Self-policing form.
