  • DEKAFOK was founded in Manavgat-Antalya in November 2020 by Seher Akyol and her son Taha and it developed fast with collaborations.
  • On June 30, 2021, with the permissions received from Manavgat District Governorship and the consent obtained from Antalya Metropolitan Municipality,
  • DEKAFOK Information and Observation Center to protect Sea Turtles was established.

AIM

DEKAFOK is to support the sustainable use of our beaches and to protect the living creatures living here, to take steps in this direction and to raise awareness among people.

It is to show that Sea Turtles, Mediterranean Seals and Sand Lilies can live in harmony with humans on our beaches, in natural habitats.

TARGETS

To protect sea turtles, Mediterranean seals and sand lilies that grow spontaneously on the coasts, to draw attention to the extinction of endangered species and habitats that threaten the biodiversity of our country,

to protect the air, soil, fresh water that make up the ecosystem on the earth together with our coasts,

To ensure the creation of social awareness for the protection of all our natural riches such as forests,
