District Award of Merit

This is the highest honor a local district can bestow upon a volunteer. �The award is decided by the District Committee and is presented to Scouters� who render service of an outstanding nature at the district level.

Leader of the Year

The Leader of the Year award is presented to adult leaders as exemplary examples in their respective positions. Possible positions that may be recognized include Scoutmaster, Cubmaster, Crew Advisor, Pack or Troop Committee Member. Recipients of this award are decided by the District Committee. �Unit Leader nominees often also meet the criteria for the Unit Leader of Merit award!

Exceptional Scouter (Extra Miler)

Decided by the unit committee (Pack, Troop, Crew). This recognition is for those �volunteers who have stepped up and gone beyond the expectations of their position. �Nominees may also meet the Den Leader and Scouter’s Training Award criteria!
