Refresher: District Commitments

COMMITMENT #1

All teachers will implement PL with a focus on all Core Four areas this year, but at their level of comfort. Student Reflection & Ownership is the first priority.

COMMITMENT #2

Each school selects 1-3 instructional models. Every grade level or content area will customize one or more instructional model(s) to support existing district goals. Teachers will customize these base models for their classrooms.

COMMITMENT #3

Targeted instruction should occur in groups of 7 students or less at least once per week.

COMMITMENT #4

Students will reflect on their classroom learning activities (what works well/what is difficult) and offer evidence of mastery on each competency.
