Ashley’s style can be described as a whimsical inspired realism. It is her desire to create elegant works of art that carry soul and depth, providing joy and meaning to all viewers.
Growing up as a native Texan, she lived in the Dallas/Fort Worth area all her life, until getting married and moving to Oklahoma City in 2024. From a young age, she could be found creating various works of art with whatever supplies she could get her hands on. As a child, she was very shy. It took many years for her to come out of her shell completely and grow into the person she is today. But in the process, she learned she could express herself through art—as it was a way to communicate without using words. She is experienced in any medium in the visual arts, whether it be pencil, charcoal, pastels, oil, acrylic, or watercolor.
In 2024, she graduated with a BA in Studio Art and a minor in Entrepreneurship at Dallas Baptist University. She currently does art full-time through commission work, illustrating books, managing her website, selling at art fairs/markets, and even live wedding paintings and guest illustrations. In addition, she has an oil painting on permanent exhibit at the Museum of Jurassic Technology in Culver City, California.
