CFLA Families,

It is always a special privilege to celebrate the rising up of our 8th graders into High School and the graduation of our Seniors, and this year was no exception. I am so proud of what our students and teachers accomplished this past year.

We observed tremendous growth in our students in the areas of academics, leadership and character since we started in August as evidenced by some excellent results on the year-end State tests, a vast increase in extracurricular participation, and a steep decline in conduct infractions combined with an incredibly diverse group of students nominated every week by teachers for the “Grade Level Leaders of the Week.”

CFLA, as a school, is continuing to grow as well. To meet our students’ need for rigorous, challenging and advanced courses, we are excited to offer advanced pathways for Middle and High School students and a Dual Enrollment program that we expect every eligible Junior and Senior (and many Sophomores and Freshman) to enter. We’re also excited about the additional varsity and club sports scheduled for next year and a rising enrollment rate that brings with it increased opportunities for all of our students.
