FKES Classroom SOP Fidelity Checklist

Each classroom is expected to have SOPs, developed as a classroom, so that your students own the expectations for the following items:

    • Morning Routine
    • Pack Up Routine
    • Snack time
    • Getting ready for recess
    • Getting teacher attention / seeking help
    • Handwashing
    • Bathroom (A Wing)
    • Tattling

You can make more SOPs for your classroom with your learners for others things as you see the need. It doesn’t have to be limited to these areas.

If you need ideas or help creating SOPs you can:

  • Ask a PBIS Team Member to help you come up with a plan for development
  • Check out these create teacher blogs/articles:

Once they’re developed? Now what?!?

Review them daily, refer to them often, and keep them ALIVE.

You’ll use them to support your behavior systems and help your learners thrive in your classroom.

Invest the time in this and it will pay off in the long run!

Go slow, to go fast!
