We are a philanthropic organization where women celebrate the advancement of women; educate women through scholarships, grants, awards, loans and stewardship of Cottey College; and motivate women to achieve their highest aspirations.

PROJECT P.E.O. sponsorship required for all except International Peace Scholarship and Cottey. | ELIGIBILITY BASICS With the exception of the International Peace Scholarship and Cottey College, all projects are open only to citizens / legal permanent residents of the U.S. and Canada. | AWARD AMOUNT |
Educational Loan Fund A revolving loan fund to lend money to women to assist them in securing a higher education. |
| Maximum amount from $12,000 to $25,000, dependent on degree. |
International Peace Scholarship Provides scholarships for international women to pursue graduate study in the US and Canada. |
| $12,500 maximum. May reapply for one renewal. |
Program for Continuing Education Provides need-based grants to women whose education has been interrupted. |
| $4,000 maximum. |
Scholar Awards Provides merit-based awards to women pursuing a doctoral level degree or who are engaged in postdoctoral research. | Must be within 2 years of graduation date and have at least 1 full academic year to complete doctoral level degree. | $25,000 maximum. |
STAR Scholarship Provides scholarships for exceptional high school senior women to attend a postsecondary educational institution. |
| $2,500 maximum. |
Cottey College Nationally-ranked liberal arts and sciences college for women in Nevada, MO, south of Kansas City. | Applicants evaluated individually on high school curriculum, GPA, and ACT or SAT scores. | Various scholarships and financial aid programs available. |
Ohio Scholarships Provides scholarships for Ohio women to pursue an undergraduate or master’s degree. |
