A School Counselor …

  • Works with ALL students, by teaching lessons to students in every classroom.
  • Teaches important skills for speaking, listening, making friends, doing well in school, handling big and strong feelings, staying safe, setting goals, solving problems, and planning for the future.
  • Helps with strong or challenging feelings
  • Helps with both BIG and small problems

A Social Emotional Learning Interventionist…

  • Works to help YOU be successful with support from the school team, families and friends
  • Participate in PROUD and community circles and support to ALL students and teachers
  • Runs Lunch Bunch and small groups to work on social skills
  • Visits your classroom and special areas to help teachers and students

Health providers

Ms. Urban & Mrs. Russo-Franco

  • Only meet with certain students that have signed up to meet with them, and cannot meet with students that have not signed up.
  • Students have a regularly scheduled day and time to meet.
  • Help students handle strong feelings and either big or small problems.
  • They have very busy schedules, so you can only meet with them during your scheduled time. If you don’t have an appointment and need to talk, you can meet with any of our other Mental Health helpers!
