Programs

  • After-School Storytime – Every Thursday @ 4:00pm
    • In addition to stories and a craft, this program provides children with a safe, fun environment where they can make new friends in their community.
  • CAREing PAWS – 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 4:30pm and 3rd Saturday of the month at 11:00am
    • CAREing PAWS is a part of the R.E.A.D. (Reading Education Assistance Dogs) program which aims to improve a child’s reading and communication skills by allowing them to read out loud to a registered therapy dog for a 20-minute period. This program does require registration.
  • Chess Club – 2nd Saturday of every month from 10:00am-11:30am
    • Our chess club will serve as a place for chess lovers of all ages and skill levels to get together and play chess! Boards and pieces will be provided. A chess coach will be present to teach beginners how to play the game and to offer insights on how to improve your game to more advanced players.
  • Crochet Club – 3rd Saturday of every month from 2:00pm
    • Our crochet club is the perfect opportunity for crochet lovers to get together and practice their craft! There will be no instructors at this meeting so attendees should have a basic knowledge of crochet stitches. Crochet hooks and yarn will be provided along with some simple patterns to follow. Attendees are welcome to work on their own projects as well. Please email Katie at krees@fayettecountyga.gov or call 770-461-8841 for more information.
