【太3:7-8】约翰看见许多法利赛人和撒都该人也来受洗，就对他们说：“…你们要结出果子来，与悔改的心相称。
Matt 3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “…8Bear fruit in keeping with repentance.

【雅1:19】我亲爱的弟兄们，这是你们所知道的。但你们各人要快快地听，慢慢地说，慢慢地动怒，
【雅1:20】因为人的怒气并不成就 神的义。
【雅1:21】所以，你们要脱去一切的污秽和盈余的邪恶，存温柔的心领受那所栽种的道，就是能救你们灵魂的道。
19You know this, my beloved brothers and sisters. Now everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger; 20for a man’s anger does not bring about the righteousness of God. 21Therefore, ridding yourselves of all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls.

【雅1:22】只是你们要行道，不要单单听道，自己欺哄自己。【雅1:23】因为听道而不行道的，就像人对着镜子看自己本来的面目，
【雅1:24】看见，走后，随即忘了他的相貌如何。
22But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror.
24For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like.

【雅1:25】惟有详细察看那全备、使人自由之律法的，并且时常如此，这人既不是听了就忘，乃是实在行出来，就在他所行的事上必然得福。
25But one who has looked intently at the perfect law, the law of freedom, and has continued in it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an active doer, this person will be blessed in what he does.

21Therefore, ridding yourselves of all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls.

【雅1:18】他按自己的旨意用真道生了我们，叫我们在他所造的万物中，好像初熟的果子。
18In the exercise of his will he gave us birth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among his creatures.
【约3:16】“ 神爱世人，甚至将他的独生子赐给他们，叫一切信他的，不至灭亡，反得永生。
John 3:16“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

【西3:3】因为你们已经死了，你们的生命与基督一同藏在 神里面。
【西3:4】基督是我们的生命，他显现的时候，你们也要与他一同显现在荣耀里。
Col 3:3For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

【约14:16-17】我要求父，父就另外赐给你们一位保惠师，叫他永远与你们同在，就是真理的圣灵…
【约14:18-19】我不撇下你们为孤儿，我必到你们这里来。…你们却看见我，因为我活着，你们也要活着。
John 14:16And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, 17even the Spirit of truth,…
18“I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19… but you will see me, because I live, you also will live.

21Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

【太16:24】于是，耶稣对门徒说：“若有人要跟从我，就当舍己，背起他的十字架，来跟从我。
【太16:25】因为凡要救自己生命的，必丧掉生命；凡为我丧掉生命的，必得着生命。
Matt 16:24Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone wants to come after me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. 25For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

John 7:3So his brothers said to him, “Leave here and go to Judea, …. If you do these things, show yourself to the world.”
