Dismissal

5 of 11

  • The safety of our students is always at the forefront of our efforts at school. We have several students with food allergies or sensitivities. Safe snack foods must be sent to school because our students are together many times during the day.
  • Please send snacks that are individually packaged, quick, easy to open, and don’t need refrigeration. No candy or full meals during snack time.
  • Please ensure your child brings a water bottle to school daily.

Snack Information

6 of 11

In order to provide consistency throughout the grade levels, we will not celebrate student birthdays during school time with parents. Treats can be dropped off at the front office and teachers will distribute them during snack time.

Any treats/goodies that are sent to school cannot be homemade. If homemade treats are sent to the school, we will not be able to pass them out to the class. Please make sure all store bought treats have the ingredients listed on the packaging for allergy restrictions.

Paper party invitations should be given to all students in the classroom or handled outside of school. Teachers are never able to give out personal information of other students or parents.

Birthdays

7 of 11

  • Write a note, email, or call to let me know if there is a change in how your child is going home.
  • Please notify us of any changes by 2:00 pm.
  • Your child will be sent home as usual unless we receive communication from you.
  • Thank you for helping us keep your child safe.

Transportation

8 of 11

  • Accidents happen. Please keep a clean change of clothes in your child’s backpack, just in case.
  • Mud and other accidents happen; we want to minimize stress by being prepared.
  • Show your school spirit each Friday by wearing a Pecan Creek t-shirt.
  • All PC Bears are encouraged to wear a college t-shirt on the 1st Tuesday of each month.
