The Challenge: CCP Enrollment Drop - X students completed CASAS testing and were successfully enrolled in CCP for fall quarter, however, they never attended class.

​

Things to Consider:

  • 60% of these students identified as female
  • The average age of these students is 32
  • 43% of these students indicated a race/ethnicity of Hispanic or multi-racial

  1. Group Brainstorm: 10 minutes - brainstorm freely all the reasons why CCP students disengage despite completing an enrollment process that requires high student and high staff engagement.
  2. Organize: 5 minutes - organize the notes into similar themes
  3. Dig Deeper: 10 minutes - look at the themes and ask deeper questions.
  4. Action Forward: 10 minutes - identify an order of importance by group vote
