Mosaics are a very common
feature of classical Greek
and Roman art.
Mosaics were composed of
lots of little stone tiles of different
colours called TESSERAE.

GREEK AND ROMAN TEMPLES
The Greeks and Romans worshipped their gods in temples. Most temples had the same structure.
The fronts were the most visible and elaborate part of the temples. They consisted of these parts:
- roof
- frieze
- columns
- steps

The three types of Greek columns were:
- Doric
- Ionic
- Corinthian

-A LONG PENCIL OR A STICK.

PROCEDURE
Step 1- Make a roller with clay.
Step 2- Design your own pattern and engrave the roller with a pencil or a stick.
Step 3- Apply tempera paint to the surface of the roller.
Step 4- Pass the roller over the paper to print the pattern.
