Pre-assessment

Objective:

    • To know the current organization’s environmental situation
    • To know the current environmental policy

Who:

    • Management team, admin, or HR and cleaner

Activity

    • Looking around the organization’s place, ( office rooms, meeting rooms, kitchen & toilet)
    • Asking some questions relating to their environmental action to the staffs.

Implementation Step to reduce carbon

Objective:

    • To change behavior
    • To be sustainable the green practice
    • To adapt to the new green practice in the office

Who:

    • All departments and staff should include

Main activity:

    • Awareness raising with staff
    • Forming the club & and setting a green team (who want to participate or select with the voting system)
    • Action planning to be green practice (i.e. create a plastic ban and charge a small fee or assign community work if someone brings plastics to the office.)
    • Requesting a vote from the staff after finishing the action plan.
    • Monitoring & evaluation
    • Taking action

    • 1 or 2 days (for small organizations)

Natural Light Utilization:

  • Utilize natural light by opening doors and curtains during the day.

Use Natural Ventilation:

  • Open windows and doors to allow fresh air to circulate through the office.
  • Ceiling fans or portable fans can help distribute cool air more effectively than aircon.
  • Air con temp set to 25DegCel, or on fan mode

EV adoption:

  • EVs become more common and easy to access, consider them for city only cars, inclusive of wallboxes for charging
