Objective:
Solve a mystery by discovering the complete story behind a strange situation.
Rules:
One player reads the mystery.
The other players ask Yes/No questions to find clues.
The reader can only answer:
Players continue asking questions until they solve the mystery.
1. SIMPLE PRESENT
Do / Does + subject + verb…?
Examples:
Does the story involve money? (a história envolve dinheiro?)
Does the person have a job? (a pessoa tem um emprego?)
Does anyone die? (alguém morre?)
2. SIMPLE PRESENT WITH VERB TO BE
Am / Is / Are + subject + complement?
Examples:
Is he alive? (ele está vivo?)
Is she at home? (ela está em casa?)
Are they friends? (eles são amigos?)
3. SIMPLE PAST
Did + subject + verb…?
Examples:
Did he fall? (ele caiu?)
Did she run? (ela correu?)
Did they jump? (eles pularam?)
4. SIMPLE PAST WITH VERB TO BE
Was / Were + subject + complement?
Examples:
Was he alone? (ele estava sozinho?)
Was she at home? (ela estava em casa?)
Were they friends? (eles eram amigos?)
5. PAST CONTINUOUS
Was / Were + subject + verb+ing…?
Examples:
Was he driving? (ele estava dirigindo?)
Was she dancing? (ela estava dançando?)
Were they working? (eles estavam trabalhando?)

Is the person alive? → A pessoa está viva?
Does the story involve money? → A história envolve dinheiro?
Does it involve an object? → Envolve um objeto?
Was it an accident? → Foi um acidente?
Was somebody hurt? → Alguém ficou ferido?
Did anyone die? → Alguém morreu?
Did the person know the victim? → A pessoa conhecia a vítima?
Did it happen at home? → Aconteceu em casa?
Did it happen at night? → Aconteceu à noite?
A woman opens her bag, but there is a dead man inside.
