Classroom Growth Goal

With each unit there is corresponding vocabulary. Unit One Vocabulary in LA9 will focus primarily on literary terms which will build a foundation for the entire year.

My goal is that students show mastery of these terms and be able to recognize their use in short stories, essays, and novels and be able to use these terms to help create their own voice as a writer.

Strategies for learning vocabulary terms at home:

  • Flashcards
  • Quizlet
  • Pairing/Grouping
  • Mnemonic Devices
