Resilience
Throughout school, we have our five Learning Legends that focus on the key qualities we want to instill in our pupils. These allow them to develop the skills to become great learners and fantastic role models.
Our five learning legends are -
Curiosity, Respect, Resilience, Independence and Co-operation.
These Learning Legends are celebrated in class assemblies each week and we focus on developing one each half term.
These Learning Legends are also lined to the Be Your Best tracker that is sent home once a half term. It is linked to these qualities and focus on the progress your child has made in developing these.
Homework
Reading Eggspress/Nessy -
Reading Eggspress will be set on Monday as a comprehension lesson, one a week. Some children will be accessing Nessy which will be a 1x20 minute slot at home.
Sumdog -
Questions will be set each week on a Monday to be completed by Sunday. This will support the learning children have been looking at in class. There will be an expectation of 50 correct questions.
TTRS - We encourage children to access TTRS at home but no homework is officially set of this platform.
