Current & On-going Challenges

OBSTACLES

Closed embassies abroad, delayed visa interview process, economic hardships, inability to travel to the US, massive loss of FTE’s from Kaplan, COVID safety concerns from students, limited work opportunities for students, agency partner turnovers & hardships, increased competition, negative perception regarding quality and value of online education, current events in the US, strong USD to name a few.

Future Outlook

OUTLOOK

It’s positive! We represent an institution that values globalism, diversity and inclusion! We have a new US president, unique program offerings, financial incentives for tuition and housing, a student dormitory, true diversity, an office in Vietnam (very rare and a booming market), new Saudi government sponsored student partners. This is just in the last 12 months! The outlook for Highline is bright – EXCEPT for COVID.

Recruitment plan & strategy for 2022-2023

  • YR1- Video content is king and will continue to play a role for the foreseeable future. We are producing agency training resources that may be accessed 24/7 via video to all current and new partners

  • YR2 – Increase our institutional & governmental ties and programs to increase our foothold in our target markets

  • YR3 – Build a strong student community which is focused on serving prospective students, who have not yet made the decision on where to study in the USA. Accomplished through our partner platform, allowing peer to peer engagement and transparent marketing
