Professional ethics of teachers

Ethics, also known as moral philosophy, is a branch of philosophy that involves systematizing, defending, and recommending concepts of right and wrong conduct. The term comes from the Greek word ethos, which means “character”.

•The code of ethics is very important because it gives us boundaries that we have to stay within in our professional careers.

Obligation towards students

• Treat all students with love and affection

Obligation towards parents community and Society

• Establish a relationship of trust with parents or guardians in the interest of all rounder development of students
• Desists from doing anythings which is derogatory to the respect of the child or his or her parents

• Awards making derogatory statements about colleagues
• Respect the professional standing and opinions of his or her colleagues
