Group discussion:

Please arrange yourselves into small groups and people and introduce yourselves (from different HDRCs if possible).

At your table discuss a current/planned research project(s) that focuses on the wider determinants in your local authorities:

  • What stage are you at in-terms of developing a research project like what you’ve seen today within your local authority?
  • What discussions and decisions have taken place?
  • What research methods and / or approaches have been discussed?
  • What are/were the main barriers you’ve face in moving research projects forward?
  • If you’ve overcome barriers, how was this achieved?
