How can we reduce the impact of rising ocean temperature on coral reef?
Before and after
Quote
“In addition to breakthrough medicines
over half a billion people depend on these reefs food and work.
Almost a fifth of the world's protein
comes from seafood with people eating on average
almost 50 pounds per year.”
How can you change this?
We can change this by posting social media and maybe commercials to let the people know about this situation. And talk to the government about it so they can put laws that the beach should be watching what people do and stop if people are hurting the coral reefs or littering.
What Is happening?
What we can do?
Preventing the Oceans Coral From Heating
Currently, our coral reefs in the ocean are being killed of, or bleached. In the past 30 years we have lost 50% of the coral in the oceans. This is because of the general rising temperatures in our oceans.
Before
After
“They found that 93% of the Great Barrier Reef suffers from coral bleaching.”-Reefs in Peril
There are many things we can do to stop our oceans from overheating, one of them is decreasing the amount of contents that pollute our earth. Like fossil fuels, or throwing away trash wherever you go. Instead of using fossil fuels, we could use solar panels or windmills, and instead of throwing away your trash, putting it in the recycling bin so it can be reused.
If we keep letting our oceans be polluted and not decrease the amount of fossil fuels we use, our coral reefs will disappear in an instant! People will lose their jobs, food source, and their hope for our ocean in years to come. We have to recycle as much as we can, and maybe even protest! If we protest we can show everyone how much we care about our coral reefs and why we need to keep them.
This is a picture of overheated coral.

What can we do to stop Global Warmings?
Global warming's has been a massive issue for a very long time. It has destroyed 50% of Coral in the past 30 years. Coral is responsible for 25% of Ocean ecosystems, so it is crucial for many sea animals to survive.
If possible, everyone should switch to solar energy as soon as possible. If you cannot do that, try to carpool or take public transportation.
“If we attack our problem with determination we shall succeed.” -Franklin D. Roosevelt.

How can we reduce the impact of rising ocean temperatures on coral reef?
There are many problems that cause coral bleaching. The main problem is climate change
“Australia’s Great Barrier Reef is suffering from the largest-ever coral bleaching event. Can the reef recover?”
Solution
I think the government should slowly start to have everything go green because the smoke and car smoke are slowly but surely heating up the earth.

EQ: What effect does the coral dying out have on the world?
Summary:
The coral dying out can have major effects on you no matter who you are. Even though it takes up a mere 1% of the ocean floor, it is responsible for the ecosystem of ¼ of the oceans life. Over half a billion people rely on the coral for jobs and food. Without the coral not only would this many people (500,000,000) lose their jobs and food source, but the economies would take a big hit as well. Since coral is used as tourist attractions as well, if the coral died out, economies would lose an estimated 36 billion dollars.
Image shown here above is the effect of Coral Bleaching, a kind of disease that the coral can get that is killing lots of the coral.
The image shown here on the left is showing the Before and After effects. These two photos were taken a year apart, and that much has changed.
What is my idea of what can be done to solve this problem?
My idea of how we can save the coral reefs is simple but complex at the same time. Be more aware of the environment. If most of the coral reefs dying is caused by climate change, do what you can to slow down or prevent climate change. I know you want to eat that meat, but hold yourself back from it to help save the environment. Use bikes or walk if there is no need to use a car to get to a destination. Lastly, turn off lights if you are not using them. These are just a few ways you can have a big impact on the environment, which in turn helps save the coral reefs.
“Coral reefs grow very slowly. Large reefs grow at the rate of 1 to 2 cm per year. It's estimated that some of the largest reefs took as long as 30 million years to form.” - Ducksters
This quote is so meaningful because it shows that some of the largest coral reefs took millions of years to form, but can only take a few years to destroy.
The image shown above shows how fast the percentage of coral has gone down, going down over 25 percent in just around 30 years.
This image shows how many villages and communities rely on coral and coral reefs to stay healthy.
If you want to change the world, start by changing yourself.
The coral is dying out very fast from the ocean temperature going up or a disease that is killing off coral. There is a disease that is call Yellow-band disease it altered tissue composition and ends up killing the coral. Also the temperature from 1901 through 2015, temperature rose at an average rate of 0.13°F per decade

We could stop the coral from dying by reducing the use of fossil fuels. Everyone will have to to save the coral.
How to stop the coral from dying.
Every few years the coral is going down from 50% to 20%.
Beauty lies in the depth of a character. The ocean might be pretty, but the coral reef is magnificent and beautiful.
