  • Decrease in consumption will likely continue in March, leading businesses to further decrease their output, especially for higher tier brands

  • Consumers are buying less quantities and go for downsizing and down tiering and buying from the wholesale hypermarkets to save more

  • Consumers are increasingly giving up on less needy products and activities to be able to purchase their essential needs comparing with Dec-22

  • In Ramadan, consumers intend increase their purchases for the essential products for iftar but intend to stop purchasing non-essential products like nuts and cold cuts
