Adhoc Workshops

An unexpected result of the SWiP Project was requests from a number of universities for out of Project or Ad Hoc workshops.

One such workshop was conducted in 2024. The impact was staggering. Over 345 new articles and 411 edits to existing articles by 165 new editors. This is roughly about half of the impact seen in the entirety of the 1st phase.

As a direct result of the SWiP Workshops new partnerships and opportunities have been realised with the possibility of further reach. One such example is expanding the reach to the a neighbouring country and providing the same workshop in Eswatini. Another such is the Community of Practice with LIASA
