Sign ups

Any team of at least 3 (with 1v1 RM rankings can) can sign up from Monday, 1 May 12GMT to Sunday, 28 May 20GMT. Each team is required to submit:

  • Team Name and alternate team name (higher seed receives team name preference)
  • Team Captain Discord handle to coordinate games, recs, etc. with admins
  • Team Roster (up to 5), with 3 players identified as the “main roster”
    • At least 2 of any of those 3 players must play each game
    • Players may join one team, and no roster changes are permitted following sign-ups
  • Working links to 1v1 RM elos for the main roster
    • This is for seeding purposes - Broken links may result in assuming the lowest elo among players
  • Attest that the team is able to play all matches during the qualifiers and the 4-week main event

Getting to the Main Event

How to Qualify

  • If you have been deemed a top 4 team (of the 36 sign ups), you are placed into the main event
  • The next 32 teams are split into 4 groups of 8
  • 2 teams from each group will qualify through 2 weeks of Single Elimination
  • Week 3 is a placement series between the 2 qualified teams

Format Summary

  • All maps are 6 vil starts
  • The first week is Bo3, 5 map pool
  • The second week is Bo5, 7 maps
  • Third week is Bo5, 7 maps
  • In all series, each team bans 1 map each before the civ draft
  • Delicious Civ Draft (next slide) applies, a type of restricted hidden pick no repeat

Coordinate with your Admin

  • By default, each week’s match is scheduled for Saturday 14 GMT
  • Practically, work with your admin to free schedule prior to that time if desired
  • Submit all recs (and results) to your admin
  • If you make it, send one or more pictures of team member(s) with food (in lieu of webcam)

Groups organized as AA (Seed 1), BB (Seed 3), CC (Seed 2), and DD (Seed 4)

  1. The top 4 teams (seeds 1 to 4) give admins their preferences of opener opponent from the bottom 4 qualifying teams (seeds 13 to 16)
  2. Simultaneously, seeds 5 to 8 give preferences of which of the top 4 to be grouped with as well as their opener opponent from seeds 9 to 12
  3. Admins then input choices, higher to lower seeds, to complete the groups

Day 1 Live July 8th

  • Opening match is 1 game on set map
  • Winners play a Bo3, Losers play a Bo3, 7 maps, 4 banned
  • Winner of Winners’ Match advances to Quarters
  • Loser of Losers’ Match is out

Day 2 Live July 9th

  • Delicious Bo5 to decide Quarters seed 2
  • Same 7 maps, but 2 total banned
  • Constrained hidden pick no repeat once again, with loser of each game picking the next map

Quarterfinals

July 15th and 16th

  • While there are set broadcast times for each of the 4 quarterfinals, teams are welcome to play in advance and send in the recorded games
  • The matches are set and scheduled as follows:

  • Bo5 series with ALL 11 maps available
  • Teams ban 2 maps each, leaving 7 to be played
  • Custom map draft, then Seed 1 picks the game 1 map
  • A Delicious Civ Draft commences (4 global, 4 exclusive bans), and series is hidden pick no repeat
  • Loser of each game picks next map from any remaining

  • Again, teams are welcome to play prior to broadcast times and send in their recorded games
  • The Final 4 teams are randomly assigned a food name: �Butter, Honey, Pepper and Salt
  • Each match is play all-5 (rather than Bo5) with otherwise identical settings to Quarterfinals

Live Bo7 at 14GMT Sunday, July 30th

  • Rank 1 by RR tie-breaker is team A, while rank 2 is team B
  • Both teams ban 1 map each from the 11-map pool before Team A (rank 1) picks. Once the map draft completes, Team A then chooses the game 1 map
  • The teams then conduct a Delicious 7 draft
    • 4 global civ bans in ABBA order
    • Teams draft 2 exclusive civs each in A,BB,A order (6 bans total for each team)
    • Series played out constrained hidden pick, no repeat
  • Losing team picks the next map from any remaining map
  • The teams are allotted up to a 5 minute break between each game
