Let’s Get Started!

• Go to maui.kuali.co and sign in with your UH username and password

​

• Click on Curriculum

​

• If you are modifying or retiring a course:

On the left side of the screen, click on Proposals

Type in the alpha and number of the course

(If you are retiring a course, click here to see list of Kuali areas to populate)

​

• Click on the appropriate course

​

• On the right side of the screen, click View Active Course and then click Propose Changes

You are now ready to input information!

• If you are creating a new course or a Special Topics course:

Click on Curriculum

On the top right side of the screen, click on + New Course

If you are proposing a Special Topics course, click here to see list of Kuali areas to populate

You are now ready to input course information!

​

- To save and exit your course proposal, click Leave Edit Mode and log out -

Log out by clicking on your name on the top right corner of the screen then choose Sign Out on the drop down menu.

• Now that you are done inputting the information, on the top right side of the screen, click on Leave Edit Mode and then click on Submit for Approval

​

• The proposal will now go to your department representative for review

​

• Once your department rep reviews the proposal, you will need to present the proposal to your department for approval.

​

• After your department approves the proposal, the curriculum co-chairs will schedule a time for you to present your proposal to the committee.
