Classroom Management

We will be using 123 Magic in our communities this year!

  • “1, 2, 3 Magic" is extremely straightforward and consistent behavior management system.
  • Each child will receive 2 warnings if they are not following classroom expectations.
  • On the third warning, they will be asked to take a 5 minute break and then rejoin the group.
  • This will be a cool down time, in the classroom, where the student can change their behavior. They will then rejoin the group ready to learn.
  • This break will be marked on their calendar (1st Grade) or on Class DoJo with a reflection sheet sent home and should be signed (2nd +3rd Grade)
