CO-TEACHING / MODELLING

Generate spaces within the schedule with the support of two teachers in the classroom.

These dynamics generate trust between them and peer learning.

PEER OBSERVATIONS

They are done for the professional improvement of both teachers involved: those who assess and those who are assessed!

They can be carried out in different modalities:

  • teachers of the same or different grades
  • with or without notice
  • choosing what you would like to observe ...

A work was carried out in order to determine how should “the best” teacher look like and what skills or qualities should he/she have.

OBSERVATION GRID

It was elaborated by all the teachers in school, reorganizing the items in three great blocks:

  • Development of teaching activity. Teaching and learning activities.
  • Evaluation. Monitoring students' learning and decisions taken to encourage their improvement.
  • Classroom management.
