Please fill out the Google Form “Pollert Check-In” here or on Classroom if you haven’t this week. Remember, if you do not check in with us we will have to call your parents, alert your principals, etc.
Time Capsule Journal
In the assignment “Time Capsule” in Classroom you’ll be starting a journal of your time out of school. Your goal is to write about this experience with the goal of having your journal be put in a time capsule. So write to the person who will be digging up the time capsule.
Prompt: What food would you include in your time capsule to represent your time restricted to your house? Why would you include this food?

Hi! I was asked to post some more of my poetry (which takes the form of song). So...here is one that I wrote that Ms. Barberi and I performed together. It’s called Hard to Believe. If you don’t want to listen, no worries. But if you think it might help you in your process give it a listen and read along with the lyrics.
It’s hard to believe where some have to start.
It’s hard to believe that silence plays a part.
It’s hard to believe that blood runs through this heart, this heart, this heart.
It’s hard to believe that answers fit anywhere.
It’s hard to believe that facts do anything but stare.
It’s hard to believe that answers
do anything but mock
those that see them and
wonder where they stop.
It’s hard to believe that you can see
Wrong and right so definitively.

Please turn in your poem on the doc. in the assignment on Classroom “Poem and Flip Grip”. Also please use the attached link in that assignment to record your poem on Flip Grid. Please have your Flip Grid completed by the end of the day Thursday so that students can view them and give feedback on Friday.
Also please leave a comment on this assignment with feedback for at least two of your classmates' poems. Make sure that you:
1. Tell us the person and the poem that you are leaving feedback for,
2. Be respectful and constructive with your feedback,
3. And give AT LEAST two complete sentences of feedback.
