ADVANCED COURSES

  • Good idea to challenge yourself with advanced classes, but think very carefully about these year long commitments

COURSE SELECTION

Counselors will be returning next week in your classes to help you enter your course requests into Skyward.

Please spend this week talking with your parents, looking over the course catalog, and filling out the registration form. Please have your registration form filled out and ready to submit to the counselors.

REMINDERS!

  • Think very carefully about course selections.
  • It is very difficult to adjust schedules in the fall because any class changes are subject to space availability.
  • Freshman Orientation day coming at the end of May. Date will be finalized and released soon!

FALL SCHEDULE ADJUSTMENT PROCESS

  • Students receive final schedules the week before school begins
  • Follow schedule for first 2 days of school
    • If students have “See Counselor,” they are missing a period, or have two classes scheduled at the same time, they need to come to the Counseling Center to select a class
  • At end of second day, students may pick up or download a Schedule Adjustment Request form and follow the directions on the form
  • If necessary, counselors will balance classes at beginning of the second week of the semester
