Submitting Final Grades

At the end of the semester final grades need to be submitted to the Registrar’s Office

Final grades must be submitted by the instructor of record as listed on the official timetable. These instructors are the only ones that will have the access required to do the final grade submission

The Moodle block sidebar is now collapsible, if you do not see blocks on the right side of the screen try pressing the arrow tab at the top right of the course to expand that sidebar

Use the scroll bar to scroll down through the blocks until you find the block called myUPEI Integration.

In the myUPEI Integration block press the Final Grades link

The students enrolled in the course will appear on the final grade table.

The current grade column is the student’s current grade according to the Moodle gradebook, if you do not use the gradebook this number will be incorrect and can be ignored

If the current grade is correct you can copy that grade to the final grade column by opening the “Populate final grade from current grade” menu and selecting final grade

Once that is done, review the grades and press Submit Grades if they are correct

If you aren’t using the Moodle gradebook type the grade in the final grade column

Final grades are whole numbers. If a student is receiving a final grade of zero enter 00 as their final grade

If the course is pass/fail you can enter a final grade of P for students that pass

Final grades of F must be sent directly to the the Records Clerk in the Registrar’s Office.

For other final grade options such as Incomplete (INC), Audited (AUD), or Discontinued (DC), leave the final grade blank and contact the Records Clerk in the Registrar’s Office

Grades can be entered in batches, such as submitting grades for graduating students for the earlier deadline and rest of the class at the later deadline

Once your grades are entered press Submit Grades
