Task Based Learning

Purpose:

Focus on completing tasks and uses language as a means to achieve task completion.

Rationale:

Tasks provide Learners with opportunities for interaction utilizing and L2 plus to process and recycle language in a more natural setting

Total Physical Response

What is it and where is it from?

TPR stands for Total Physical Response and was created by Dr. James J Asher. It is based upon the way that people learn their mother tongue.

When can TPR be used?

TPR can be applied in multiple formats to address different age ranges and language proficiency
