Headphones
I provide the children with a pair of earbuds, but if you would like to send your child to school with their own headphones that works as well.
Classroom Helpers
If you are unable to help in class you can still help by correcting tests, or math facts, at home (I will give you the answer keys to any materials I send home for correction).
If you come in, please sign up though online and Raptor.
Voluntary donations for class supplies:
Helping hands on the back table.
Because our supply budget will not support all of the activities we have planned for this year, we are seeking the voluntary donation of supplies which students can utilize throughout the year.
Books
Hand sanitizer
A box of Kleenex
Baby wipes
Class Parties
If a parent would like to oversee the class parties and be a head room parent, please let me know.
Parents are encouraged to come to the party and help set up and enjoy in the festivities. To come in and help the volunteer application form must be filled out and turned into the office.
Birthday Celebrations
NO FOOD FOR BIRTHDAY PARTIES.
If you voluntarily choose to bring something, you can bring anything else such as pencils or any other nonfood items.

Kids take a quiz at school.
They get a reading level.
They choose books in their level to read from school library, public library, or home. Use http:// www.arbookfind.com to determine if the book is appropriate.
Then, after reading the book they take a quiz on the book they read. The quiz is open book.
