Reminders
Pine River Area Boosters: Our Booster Club supports student athletes and marching band members, grades 7-12, largely by hosting concession stands for each home event as well as hosting an annual auction. We are currently seeking both a one-year term trustee position on the board as well as volunteers willing to help in concessions. If you are interested in learning more about what we do and/or a position on the board, please email boosters@pineriver.org. Protect Young Eyes- Parents and caring adults, Highland Christian Reformed Church is hosting an event titled Fabulous & Fragile: Mental Health, Tech, & Our Kids, and you won’t want to miss it! Devices and technology are capable of so much and easily captivate our children. Come unpack the brain, science, and solutions needed to help our amazing kids navigate an addictive digital world. Join us Saturday, February 22, from 1:00-2:30PM for this compelling presentation. This is a free event open to the public with childcare provided, refreshments, and door prizes. Important Information:
7th & 8th Grade Softball: Any girl currently in 7th or 8th grade interested in playing softball please sign-up in the office. Skill sessions will begin on March 2, 2025 from 11:00am-1:00pm in the MS gym. We will have a parent meeting at 10:30 am where all information will be shared. My Guy and Me Dance: All PR girl K-5th graders are invited to the My Guy and Me Dance on tonight Friday, February 21st from 6:00-8:00 pm. Doors will open at 5:45 pm. The theme this year is “Making Sweet Memories.” The dance will be held in the Elementary gym. More information here.
7th & 8th Grade Baseball: Any boy currently in 7th or 8th grade interested in playing baseball, please sign up in the office. Sign ups will run through February 27th. Skill sessions will begin March 2, 2025. Time to be determined. We will reach out to parents before the 2nd via text. There will be a parent meeting March 2nd before the 1st skill session, more information on the season will be shared then.
