WBHS will be hosting the Probe College Fair on Tuesday, 9/13 from 1-2:30pm. Approximately 60 colleges will be in attendance!!

The fair will be held on the top level of the gym.

Seniors will attend from 1-1:45. Seniors will need to eat lunch before 1:00 pm.

Juniors will attend from 1:45-2:30. Juniors will need to eat lunch before 1:45 pm.

Announcements will be made to release students to attend.

Questions about the School:

  • What do students like most about your school?
  • What makes your college unique?
  • Does your school have my intended major? If not, what other programs are there that fit my interests?
  • What are some of the strongest programs or most popular majors?
  • What are the faculty/professors like and how accessible are they outside of class?
  • How big are class sizes for freshmen? For upperclassmen?
  • Are any big changes to your school or new opportunities for next year that I should know about?

  • What percentage of students receive financial aid?
  • How much student loan debt do students from your college typically leave with?

  • Do admissions officers make decisions solely on numbers, or do extracurricular activities truly matter at your school? (This is usually called a “holistic review”).
  • Is there an Early Action deadline?
  • When will admissions decisions be released?
  • If I am accepted, is there an orientation or accepted students day that I should or am required to attend?
  • What happens if I am denied or deferred from Early Action/Regular Decision?
  • If I do not meet requirements for the fall, what other options do I have?
  • Do you have Spring admission or a Bridge Program that you can tell me about?

Questions about Availability of Support Services:

  • What type of health services and mental health/counseling services are available?
  • Does your school have a career center that helps students find internships and jobs?
