“WHAT IS KEY CLUB?”

  • 38 countries
  • the oldest and largest student-led service program for high school students.
  • called Key Club because its founders were the Key boys of their school

“WHAT DO I DO IN KEY CLUB?”

Key Clubs are reflective of their communities and their communities’ needs—therefore, no Key Club looks exactly like another.

“WHY JOIN KEY CLUB?”

  • Meet new friends (diff. States, cities, etc)
  • Widely recognized organization with an exceptional reputation
  • Earn a graduation stole/cord during senior year
  • College essays
  • Serve the community

Key Club Events

DCMs:

  • Held every month with service projects/ social activities
  • Led by our Lieutenant Governor, Sammie Le

Fall Rally North:

  • October 23rd @ Six Flags
  • Divisions from all over Key Club attends
  • Spirit session in the beginning/end of the day
    • Competition to see the most spirit division to win the Fall Rally North Spirit Stick
    • We will be learning chants in the upcoming meetings!

District Convention (DCON):

  • Attend workshops, celebrate achievements, be recognized, and elect the new District Board
  • 3 day trip in Reno
  • April 1-3, 2022

Dues Paid Membership

As an FRKC member, you must be dues-paid. The dues this year is $15, which will be DONATED towards Key Club International, CNH District, division, home club. (PAY ASAP!)

Being a dues paid member includes many benefits:

  • Having your hours signed off at the end
  • Attending Fall Rally North and District Convention
  • Eligibility for the graduation cord

MEMBER RECOGNITION PROGRAM

Designed to recognize a large number of dues-paid Key Club members with a minimum of fifty service hours. There are four levels of recognition, as explained in the rubric: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum.

A member may not start counting service hours or other MRP requirements UNTIL DUES ARE PAID!! If you were already a dues paid member of Key Club in the previous year and are in good standing, you may count summer hours.

Club Hours includes participation, attendance, and anything excluding performing community service.

Club Hours Include:

- Fundraisers

- General Meetings

- DCMs

- Interclub

- Conclave

- Donations

Service hours include at-home AND in-person service events. /

  • Separate from club hours
  • Required amount of service hours per quarter
  • Service projects, volunteer, service events
  • Fulfillment for the MRP
