Purpose of this meeting

• Provide transparency for how the elector process worked

• Highlight areas to improve, and brainstorm solutions

Overview of elector process

Cohort 1

• Mina Foundation (MF) team reached out to 40+ potential candidates
• Info session with all candidates
• Randomized lottery to determine final group of 30
• MF team sorted zkApp vs. dev4dev track
• Elector onboarding sessions + ethics agreement
• Separate discord channels

Onboarding / selection

Cohort 1

• 2 stages of feedback
• Every elector was assigned 12-16 proposals for feedback

• Feedback = public comments on zkIgnite platform
• Every project should have received at least 2 pieces of feedback

• Live proposal presentations

Feedback phase

• 2 rounds of voting
• Track-specific elector meetings in between rounds
• Surplus mechanism for allocating under or over-funded proposals
