Let’s discuss some things…

  1. Talk about the qualities of feathers, including differences and similarities between different birds (e.g. kiwi, tūī, peacocks, falcons).
  2. Describe the surface features (e.g. colour, size, shape)
  3. Describe functional features (e.g. waterproof, flight, protection, camouflage).
