Funds Raised:

    • Retail partnerships - nearly $500 in cash since January
      • includes Decicco’s, Stop & Shop & ACME
    • Buddy’s Bonus Activities - $64K surplus reflects Fall and Winter activity - with many invoices still outstanding for payment

Tax filing for 2023/24 school year and independent financial audit was completed.

  • Author visit with Bonnie Badar scheduled for 3/20 (Grades 2-5).
  • Alyssa Capucilli (Biscuit books) will be coming on April 28th for K/1 students.
  • In May we will have Lauren Tarahis (I Survived series) for grades 3-5.

  • PARP month is underway! Please see student’s PARP reading log for events.
  • Starry Story Night on March 26

To promote the welfare of KES children in school, home and community.

To increase communication between the home and school so that parents and teachers may work cooperatively toward enhancing the education of KES children.

To conduct fundraising events, when necessary, and programs for the benefit of KES students.

  • KES PTO Mission: Continue to deliver on our mission to enhance the educational experience of students through strategic collaboration with PTO members and school faculty,

Creating Safe, Equitable, and Inclusive Environments

  • Safety: Update safety policies and training to ensure physical and emotional security. Update emergency procedures and provide conflict resolution training.
  • Equity: Review and implement fair practices to eliminate disparities and ensure equal access to resources.
  • Inclusivity: Celebrate diversity and provide platforms and training opportunities for volunteer leaders so all voices are heard and respected.

Sustainability Commitment

  • Eco-friendly Events: Minimize environmental impact by using sustainable materials and reducing waste.
  • Sustainable Initiatives & Education: Support recycling, energy-saving measures, and sustainable transportation (in partnership with KLSD).
