LEGO Ice Breaker

Rules

The objective is to build an exact replica of the model in 10 minutes.

There are three roles

      • Builder
      • Runner
      • Viewer

Only one team member may be the Viewer and see the model

The Viewer may only speak to the Runners

Builders may not speak

Runners may speak to the Builders and Viewer. No other forms of communications are allowed

Car Turn-in- Tuesday March 14

  • Bring car close to finished. We can help with weight issues and wheel/axle placement. PLEASE no wet paint!

Rules

      • Width shall not exceed 2-3/4 inches.
      • Length shall not exceed 7 inches.
      • Weight shall not exceed 5 ounces.
      • Axles, wheels, and body shall be from the materials provided by BSA.
      • Wheel bearings, washers, and bushings are prohibited.
      • No lubricating oil may be used. Axles may be lubricated with powdered graphite or silicone.
      • The car shall not ride on any kind of spring.
      • The car must be free-wheeling, with no starting devices.
      • No loose materials of any kind are allowed in the car.

Camp Clark - May 19th- 21st (Near Cape Lookout)

  • Option to drive out Fri night (after Supper)or Sat morning (before Lunch)
  • Low Tide Hikes (-1.24’ 8:40am Sat, -1.15’ 9:20am Sun)
  • Den activities & Field Games
  • 4 sites overlooking the shoreline (Mini Dacks)
  • Dining Hall reserved
  • Leaving Sunday Noon

Cost:

  • Mini Dacks covered by Meeting Camp4All Goal!
  • Cost of food split between attendees (est $20-30)

*Scouts crossover to the next rank in June, so in the summer they are considered the grade they would be in when they start school in the fall.

May 1: Balance Due

Scouts $304 (Adults $105) Total incl Deposit

Two Weeks prior to camp:

At this point, adult spots are considered ‘locked-in’ and full payment is due for each youth spot whether or not they attend camp

If a Scout is unexpectedly not able to attend camp, �we MAY be able to schedule them a make-up session with a parent later on

Lion recruitment - current and incoming

Invite current kindergarteners to come and join us at a den meeting anytime

  • Local Easter Egg hunt - help stuff eggs
    • include incentivized invite for 5-6yr old group

Plan a spring recruitment event just for Kindergarteners/PreK
