Million Women Mentors (MWM), an initiative of STEMconnector, is a national and global movement to spark the interest and confidence in women and girls to pursue STEM careers and leadership opportunities through the power of mentoring.
Million Women Mentors Program
The Million Women Mentors program, dubbed Milyon Kadına Mentor in Turkish, connects private, public and NGO sector leaders with young women (15-25 year old) for mentorship opportunities in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) fields.

Mentors & Mentees
Mentors: Mentors are expected to have minimum 5 years of professional experience in STEM fields.Mentors could be working in any type of organization as long as they have a current STEM role.Mentors can be men or women.
Mentees: Mentees are the young women (15-25 year old / 18-25 year old specifically for 1:1 Mentoring Program) who are studying in or graduated from STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) majors in universities and those of whom currently works in or would like to pursue a career in STEM fields.
Duration of Mentoring : 6-10 hours in 6 months

Ambassador circle co-chairs: Hosts monthly Ambassador circle meetings, contributes to the community design and recruitment of the Ambassador Network and acts as Spokesperson of the program.
Circle coordinators: Hosts monthly group meetings, follows up with contributors and presents circle's contributions in monthly meetings
1.City Outreach Circles:Each Ambassador recruits 10 pledgers in a city in 12 months
2.Industry Outreach Circles:Each Ambassador recruits 10 pledgers in an industry in 12 months
3.Workgroup Circles:Outreach; Marketing & Communication; High School
Individual contributors: Reaches her/his targets, connects with TurkishWIN team and reports results. Attends quarterly celebration meetings.
